Jan 17, 2018 · I generally use IPSec when I need to connect with endpoints that can't support OpenVPN (e.g. Cisco), won't support OpenVPN (e.g. third parties), legacy scenarios where IPSec was already used, or if I had a situation where I actually need that maximum throughput.
